Kingsford Smith Drive Upgrade Hotel Offer

The Kingsford Brisbane Airport Hotel is waiting patiently as the upgrades continue on the Kingsford Smith Drive. Expected to be completed in 2019, the Kingsford Smith Drive upgrade is a project which involves the widening the road from four to six lanes between Theodore Street at Eagle Farm and Cooksley Street at Hamilton.

Due to the high volume of congestion on the Kingsford Smith Drive, the project is designed to increase road capacity to accommodate future traffic volumes. Future hotel guests will benefit from improved pedestrian and cycle facilities and from the upgraded public transport facilities.

Current Update

There are currently roadworks on Seymour Road and directly outside The Kingsford Brisbane Airport. Access to The Kingsford Brisbane Airport is still available at all times. The roadworks are required to allow for the installation of major stormwater infrastructure and the construction of the new road. Pedestrian access is still also accessible to and from the hotel.
