Bookings Assurance

We understand that many of our guests’ travel plans have been impacted by the travel restrictions and the uncertainty around COVID-19. We are committed to ensuring our guests have flexibility in reserving their accommodation during this time.

Any Reservations
If guests need to adjust any upcoming travel made, they will have the opportunity to change or amend their reservation which were made from our official website or keep the value of accommodation as hotel credit to be used on future bookings.

Health and Hygiene

Our highest priority is ensuring the health and wellbeing of our current and future guests are being taken care of. Our hotel maintains the highest standard of cleanliness and hygiene. In response to COVID-19, we have taken additional precautions and measures to our health and hygiene protocols for the wellbeing of staff and guests.

  • Hand sanitisers will be available for all guests to use in both the reception and the Hotel Cafe.
  • Signs will be available to direct guests in the public areas of the hotel where they can wash their hands.
  • We have increased the frequency of cleaning of high-touch surfaces and public areas such as doorknobs, elevators, hotel reception desk, and public bathrooms, EFTPOS machines (after each use) and room keys after each use with the use of hospital-grade disinfectant.
  • We will continue to adjust food and beverage service in accordance with current food safety recommendations. Including the increased sanitisation of the cafe food preparation table, food trays and all high-touch surface areas.
  • The Kingsford uses hospital-grade cleaning products and has rigorous disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high-touch items.
  • Our staff is briefed daily and educated on our practices and actions to prevent the spread of the virus. This includes frequently washing their hands with soap and water and avoiding shaking hands with guests.

Record Travel History

Extra precautions are being taken to protect our guests and staff members. Staff will record all guests’ international travel history for the past 20 days when guests have checked in. This information will not be publicly shared and will be for confidential use only.
